Philadelphia Athletics Runs Charts and Records
About Runs
Runs are charged to a pitcher or team's pitchers when a hitter or baserunner scores for any reason. For a pitcher to be charged with a run, they must have been the pitcher the scoring batter faced during their plate appearance. A more complex example: if pitcher A is removed after allowing runners to reach second and third, and pitcher B gives up a home run, the two baserunners are charged to pitcher A while the home run batter is charged to pitcher B. Generally, for Runs, lower is better. (Source)
